Yes, ty Carol.

It looked like the Sedins were disappointed there weren't more Canadian questions.

Well, this is embarrassing, Nucker said everyone would meet here at 4 PM Hmmmmmmm someone check the papers for any multitude of arrests - the leader of the entourage will be easy to recognize, as he'll be wearing a pink thong (with the numbers 22 and 33 on each side) and draped with three Filipinas on his arm.

P.S. thanks for the blogs Carol, I think you are one of the most consistent and prolific writers on here.

Tanner is slowly becoming Ian Esplen II.

There were so many elements/comments in his last blog that I completely disagreed with, that I felt the time needed to put forth itemizing/responding would be better served watching Honey Boo Boo series.

Case in Point: comparing the Flames situation a few years back with the Canucks current team/roster is, at least in my humble opinion, a poor analysis.

But what always kind of irks me in particular, and leaves me scratching my head(s) are the comments and prognostications as concerns the Sedins. Namely, I feel that everyone and their canine's canine realizes the Sedins will NEVER waive their no-trade clause or allow themselves to be traded individually. And, if for whatever reason the Canucks don't want their services anymore (my opinion and of course preference is they retire Canucks, as they still have a lot left in the gas tank and I'm sure can put up good numbers for a few more years), they are going to go back to Sweden to play there and be there with their family. So once again, I don't understand people suggesting trade etc scenarios or maligning the Canucks management that they didn't think of this option. It is simply a NON-STARTER.

Alas, I realize this is a discussion site (I think? lol) and as such, will always have opinions that people strongly agree or disagree with. To that end, as long as no restraining orders are required, all is good

Please note: I should have clarified that I'm only referring to his section on the Canucks, as I mostly agree with his comments on Columbus and Johansen and, to an extent, his views on the Isles.

He's just a troll blogger, I thought Ek cleaned house of these losers.

Ek, having knobs like Barry, Clouts, Esplen was ruining your site I was so happy when you got rid of them, and now you bring in this Tanner clown.

Losing respect.

Thanks. It's overwhelming when I have to sift through 1,000 comments on the big news days, but I really appreciate those of you who are checking in and hanging out through the summer. Monday will be one month till the beginning of training camp!

I kind of backed myself into a corner when I committed to this "Who Wore it Best" feature. Must. Not. Fall. Behind...

This. As soon as I saw him say "trade the Sedins" I threw up in my mouth a little. People that are too shortsighted to see that many issues such as this have a series of complex restraints that make a simple solution impossible. Ie. Why don't we just assassinate Hitler? or Why didn't the eagles just fly the ring to Mordor? because the Germans had anti-aircraft weapons, the orcs had bows and flying monsters and the Sedins have NMCs you anus! /endrant

Tanner was a Leaf fan. But they disowned him for being too delusional.

This quote from a recent blog sums up just how far his head is crammed in his rectum.
"The defense and goaltending of the Coyotes aren't just playoff worthy, they match up favorably against every single Stanley Cup Contender. LA, Chicago, Pittsburgh, St.Louis and Boston are, in my opinion, the 5 best teams in hockey and I think you can objectively and favorably compare the Coyotes defense and goaltending against theirs"

This was from the post where he GUARANTEED that the Coyotes will make the playoffs next year.

And even if their D and goaltending did stack up to the big guys, their offensive production is barely AHL quality.

I actually agree with him but for none of the reasons he mentions (Canuck related). I think the Miller signing was terrible. More than 1 year was stupid IMO, I bet if he hadn't signed in Vancouver on day 1 he would still be looking for work.

What was the rush?

I guess the other side of it was being quick and decisive. If it is part of the plan, then go ahead with the plan.

Maybe you look at it as the type of player to fill a role where Benning is of the approach you target the bpa.

I always thought the approach would be, we need "scoring" what type of player will bring us scoring, what are we lacking, playmakers or finishers or someone to make some room for what we already have... and who is available and talk to agents and teams to see expected salaries or comparable players...

Or Benning thought there was a large drop off in talent after Miller and just wanted us to be solid in goal with a proven commodity. Still wonder what he sees or hears about Lack that caused him to go after Miller?

(I wasn't for the Miller trade, what do ya do?)
